Everyone likes a little Green!

While we understand that being green can be a bit more difficult at times we would like our clients to know that we use rechargeable batteries in all of our cameras and flashes. While the investment did seem like more in the beginning, were told that the newer hybrid rechargeable batteries that we use can be charged about 1000 times. We don’t turn off our Mac’s ever, but they are set to go to sleep rather quickly. We use advanced power settings that allow our monitors to shut down after non-use for a specified short time. We calibrate our monitor to the highest standards so we have less reprints and use our lab’s FTP upload instead of mailing them in. Whether you fall into the global warming camp or not, reducing the amount of energy we use can help to conserve the beautiful environment and all of the living things that we, as photographers, love to capture.
